Private Chef for Groups on the Costa del Sol

From an eight-seat villa dinner to a party of thirty — one chef who plans, cooks and serves the whole thing, so no one in your group is stuck in the kitchen.

Bringing a group to the Costa del Sol — a big birthday, a hen or stag weekend, a family reunion or a company trip? A private chef for your group means everyone eats together, properly, without anyone cooking, washing up or booking a restaurant that can seat you all. I'm Christian Wybaux, a private chef based in Benalmádena, and I cook for groups in villas and holiday homes right across Marbella, Málaga, Estepona, Sotogrande and the whole coast.

I've cooked for tables of 11, 14 and well beyond — and the principle is always the same: fresh local ingredients, a menu built around your group, and a relaxed evening where the food simply arrives.

Ways to Feed a Crowd

The format that suits your group

Some groups want a relaxed, sociable sharing feast or a live-fire BBQ out on the terrace. Others want a proper plated dinner for a celebration. Many do both across a weekend — a BBQ one night, something more formal the next.

We decide together based on your group, the villa and the occasion. Whatever the format, I handle the shopping, the cooking, the serving and the clean-up — and for bigger numbers I bring service staff so it all runs smoothly.

Handled For You

The logistics of feeding a group, sorted

Cooking for a group is as much about organisation as it is about food. I bring service staff for larger parties, arrange any extra equipment the villa doesn't have, and time each course so nobody waits. There's one point of contact, one menu agreed in advance, and one quote — no juggling restaurants, taxis or separate bills. And because mixed diets are normal in any group, I cater vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and allergy-aware guests at the same table as a matter of course.

FAQ

Groups & parties — common questions

Groups of around 6 to 30 are the sweet spot, and I cook comfortably at either end — an intimate dinner for eight or a villa party for thirty. For larger numbers I bring additional service staff, so just tell me the headcount and I'll plan the kitchen and team around it.

Usually, yes. The price per person is generally more favourable for larger groups, because the cost of time and travel is shared across more guests. Send me your numbers and the style of food you want and I'll quote accordingly.

Yes. For bigger groups and events I bring waiting and kitchen staff so the food goes out smoothly and your guests are looked after. A sommelier and bar staff can also be arranged on request.

Absolutely — mixed groups are normal. I regularly cater vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and allergy-aware guests at the same table, so everyone eats well without a separate fuss.

All three work. Sharing feasts and BBQs are relaxed and sociable and suit big, lively groups; a plated dinner feels more of an occasion for celebrations. Many groups mix the two across a weekend — a BBQ one night, a plated dinner the next.

Planning a group trip?

Send me your dates, your villa location and how many you are — I'll put together a menu and a quote, usually within 24 hours.
